Scotland 2 - Spain 3 Boo-hoo!

First Half

Scotland 0 -Spain 1 (but the "handball" wasn't intentional and looked more like an upper-arm)

Second Half

Scotland 0 - Spain 2 (deserve to be ahead)

Scotland 1 - Spain 2 (commentators put it down to Spain being "distracted")

Scotland 2 - Spain 2 (I put it down to arrogance -  the Spanish are getting a bit like the English)

Scotland 2 - Spain 3 (Ok the best team won but we gave you a fright)

Maybe next year ......

Hi Graham,

This Spanish team is ever the same, in 2010 and in 2021. If you was supporter of this team, you would have nothing but trouble. Generally speaking, the Spanish have to sweat each match, each step to the superior level and all competitions. We are always dragging for the score in the last minute. You sit down on the sofa, in the front row at home, to enjoy good match, with the Scotch, cheese, ham and nuts. At half time, you have finished everything, you are sweating and your wife is laughing at you because you are nervous, but you pretend that you are enjoying. ¡Yuck!

I don´t know if supporters of Inverness and the Highlands of Scotland suffer with their team in the same way, but I´m afraid so. It´s possible that the drunks increase after each match. Anyway, I think the Scots don´t need any excuse to drink, preferentially Scotch. They have good luck. Perhaps, it´s better to drink than to swear.

See you.

Good evening Joseph,

I remember celebrating Spaim winning the 2008 Euros but by the time of the World Cup in 2010, I was secretly keeping my fingers crossed that Spain wouldn't win. I now openly admit to supporting anyone but Spain (though I have lost all of the little interest I had in football).
