Could we say that the word "yonderly" means to believe in ghosts, fairies, and things like that?
Anyway, I think that story about Cottingley's famous fairies helped to put the village on the map, indeed. And, although many people still believe on that, it was obviously fake.

I have never heard of the word. I've looked it up but it isn't in the dictionary. I don't know if there is a word for someone who believes in ghosts and the like.

Be careful with the use of "indeed". It has two uses: one of emphasis and the other like "infact".

I find it amazing how a respected magazine and newspaper believed the authenticity of the diaries and published them. They should have known that it was a hoax.

A loft is a space above a house where things are usually stored. Many people convert the loft into another room.

So a hayloft is a space above a barn (a building on a farm) where hay for the animals is stored.

Can you think of any famous hoaxes in Spain?
